I call these “shield vases” because I face the undecorated side directly towards the firebox of the kiln to shield more delicate forms and designs from getting blasted with flame and ash! This hand built flattened bottle vase would be a great addition to the holiday table or mantle. Measures 9.5 x 7 x 3". All pots are made from wood fired, salt glazed stoneware with hand painted designs. I recommend hand washing this piece. Treat them with care and they will last for generations of use!
