Blue Cohosh Serving Boat
Despite extensive testing, there were still a couple of pieces with fit issues in the new green slip. These pieces are gorgeous despite having a few cosmetic flaws in the slip, so I have decided to sell them at a discount. Examples of the blemish are shown in the photos.
A handbuilt serving dish great for plating a side dish, or sitting on the counter full of fresh fruit. I begin these forms as a hunk of solid clay that is pinched out and then hewn into shape; as such they have more heft than my work that is thrown on the potter's wheel and provide a sturdy presence on your table. This piece measures 2 x 12.5 x 5". All pots are made from wood fired, salt glazed stoneware with hand painted designs. I recommend hand washing these pieces to preserve their delicate features. Treat them with care and they will last for generations of use!
