Make a Gingerbread Luminary!

Let's make a gingerbread luminary at my studio in Waynesville! Students will cut pattern pieces, join them together, and use a technique called slip trailing to put "icing" on their clay gingerbread house. We will also cut windows or decorative openings to let the light of a votive candle peek out! This project is suitable for beginners; chances are if you've made cookies before you can make this! Students may choose from a natural or clear gloss finish, and may pick up their pieces the following week or have them shipped for a small fee. We'll snack on cookies and hot cider to get us in the mood for this sweet clay project!
